Job Description:

1. Machine Operator Setup: Prepare the CNC machine for production by selecting the appropriate tools, loading materials,

and calibrating the machine. Programming: Create, edit, or input CNC programs using G-code, CAD/CAM software, or

other methods to guide the machine's operations. Operation: Run the CNC machine to manufacture parts according to the

specifications outlined in blueprints or digital models.

2. Quality Control Inspection: Regularly check the output for precision and accuracy, using tools like calipers, micrometers,

and gauges. Adjustments: Make necessary adjustments to tooling or settings to ensure parts meet tolerance and quality

standards. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues that may arise during the machining process, such as tool wear or

programming errors.

3. Maintenance Routine Maintenance: Perform regular cleaning, lubrication, and maintenance of the CNC machine to ensure it

operates efficiently and prevent breakdowns. Repairs: Diagnose and address mechanical or electrical malfunctions with the

assistance of maintenance technicians when needed.

4. Documentation & Record Keeping Program Management: Store and organize CNC programs for future use, ensuring all

revisions and updates are properly recorded. Reports: Maintain logs of machine usage, downtime, maintenance tasks, and

part production.

5. Safety Compliance Safety Protocols: Adhere to safety guidelines to prevent accidents, including proper use of personal

protective equipment (PPE) and machine guards.

Training: Keep up with safety training and updates, ensuring proper procedures are followed at all times.

6. Collaboration Coordination: Work closely with engineers, production supervisors, and quality assurance teams to ensure

efficient workflow. Continuous Improvement: Provide feedback on machining processes to help improve production

efficiency and quality. Each responsibility ensures the CNC machine operates efficiently, produces quality parts, and

maintains a safe working environment.
