Network Administrator

Description We are seeking a Network Administrator to join our team in the agriculture industry, located in Visalia, California. The role involves overseeing and supporting IT operations, providing escalation support, and managing building security systems in collaboration with a larger IT team. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Oversee and manage IT operations for both onsite employees and remote users. Serve as the primary contact point for IT Support Technicians, providing necessary escalation support. Administer and support Microsoft environments, including but not limited to Azure, Office 365, Windows Servers, and Windows 11 workstations. Utilize Freshdesk for efficient ticket management and resolution. Collaborate effectively with the parent company’s IT team to align on strategies and directions. Ensure the maintenance and management of building security systems, including door fobs, security cameras, and alarms. Monitor the performance of both hardware and software deployments, implementing necessary updates or changes as needed. Requirements Proficiency in computer hardware, capable of troubleshooting and resolving hardware-related issues. Demonstrated experience with deployments, including planning and executing software and hardware installations. Strong understanding of building security, able to design and implement security measures to protect network infrastructure. Familiarity with Freshdesk or similar helpdesk software to manage and prioritize IT support tickets. Extensive knowledge of Azure Active Directory (AD), able to manage users, groups, and devices within the directory. Experience with Azure AD Connect, comfortable with synchronizing on-premise directories and databases with Azure AD. Proficiency with Azure Admin Center, capable of managing services, applications, and data across Azure. Solid understanding of Microsoft Azure, including the ability to design, configure, and manage services within this cloud computing platform. Familiarity with Windows Azure, able to leverage this platform for building, deploying, and managing applications and services.
