Job Summary:
Entry level position to perform clerical duties, data entry, creates the shipment paperwork. Provides administrative and clerical support to the traffic department. Responsible for all aspects of logging and tracking of inbound and outbound shipments or transfers.
Responsibilities:
Process the delivery receipts paperwork for items scheduled to be delivered the following day; print the document, verify printout against original sales order on JD Edwards, verify delivery address, mark paperwork with the pertinent department of agricultural stamp.
Communicate directly with each yard if there are discrepancies in the sales order.
Verifying internal transfers coming out of every yard for orders called for.
Daily loading dock report – confirmation of product for sales order available to ship.
Quality control – ordering/quality control reports as needed.
Keeping daily load report updated following that loads are on schedule delivery times.
Assist in picking slips corresponding to yards – for orders to be pulled.
Ensure all items are delivered, communicate any issues with the driver and yards.
Other duties may be assigned.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
Proficient computer skills
Some logistics experience (Preferred)
Bilingual English and Spanish (Must)
Clear communication skills to interact clearly with customers, vendors, and other personnel.
Strong organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
