Title: Shuttle Driver
Supervisor: Associate Director of Campus Operations
SUMMARY
Drive Pacifica’s shuttle vans as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Pick up and delivery of students, faculty, and staff as directed.
Transport students for field trips.
Transport vehicles for repairs.
Maintain vehicles interior and exterior.
Conduct DMV required walk around inspection of vans at beginning of each shift.
Complete miscellaneous logs as required by supervisor.
Maintain a pleasant, respectful, and helpful attitude toward all passengers.
Pick up and deliver post office and inter-campus mail.
Carry out policies established by others.
Unlock/lock and accompanying procedures of campuses daily.
Work within existing rules and procedures.
Execute all other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to interface with a number of different personality types. Must be detailed oriented with good prioritization and time-management skills. Must have a positive personality.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
LANGUAGE AND MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to read, write, speak, and receive instruction in English.
Ability to problem-solve while following established policies, regulations, and procedures. Ability to pro-actively identify potential problems and positively resolve them.
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES
CA driver’s license
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk and hear. Sometimes required to sit, climb and/or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl. Close and long-range vision. Physical job that requires all necessary physicality to accomplish the duties as assigned. Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Pay Range: $18-$19/hour
Hours of Work: ON-CALL (Typically averaging 2-4 full shits per month, occasionally more).
Location: Lambert & Ladera Campus
Status: Regular, part-time, non-exempt
