Cleaner Streets LLC is a family-owned and operated street sweeping company that has been providing quality services to our clients since 1984. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced CDL Sweeper Driver to join our team.
As a Street Sweeper Operator, you will be responsible for operating sweeping vehicles to clean streets, parking lots, construction sites, road maintenance projects and other areas. You will need to ensure that all supplies and material handling equipment are secured prior to operating the sweeper, perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, and ensure that the vehicle is operating correctly while on the route.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate sweeping vehicle to clean streets, parking lots, and other areas
Ensure supplies and equipment are secured prior to operating the sweeper
Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle
Ensure vehicle is operating correctly while on the route
Notify management regarding maintenance of any concerns
Report any unsafe situations/service calls to management before attempting service
Participate in all scheduled training, briefings, and safety meetings as required
Work closely with management to improve route efficiencies and identify any on-road issues
Complete all duties as scheduled by Manager or Dispatch
Notify Manager of any incidents/accidents/injures/property damage
Provide a positive professional customer attitude when dealing with customers
Complete required work orders, and basic customer interactions onsite
Learn basic Mechanical skills related to sweepers to aid in ongoing maintenance of assigned vehicles.
Attention to detail so as to avoid truck damage
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED
Valid California CDL Class B
Valid Driver's License
Air Brake Endorsement
