Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled painter who is experienced in both residential and commercial painting projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various painting techniques, surface preparation, and the application of paints and coatings for interior and exterior surfaces. From small residential homes to large commercial buildings, our projects require attention to detail, precision, and a dedication to delivering exceptional results.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching as needed.
- Select and mix paint colors according to specifications and client preferences.
- Apply paint and coatings using brushes, rollers, or sprayers to achieve desired finish.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
- Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and team members.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas before, during, and after painting projects.
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance and address any touch-ups or deficiencies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a painter in both residential and commercial settings.
- Proficiency in various painting techniques and surface preparation methods.
- Knowledge of different types of paints, primers, and coatings.
- Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality finishes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed, including evenings and weekends.
