About the Role
National Graphics is seeking a hands-on, solutions-driven Data Operations Supervisor to lead our onsite data-processing team. In this pivotal role, you’ll manage a team of specialists, drive high-stakes client projects, ensure regulatory compliance, and champion continuous improvement—all while staying close to the technical work yourself.
You'll serve as the bridge between Sales, IT, Vendors, and Production—translating project requirements into actionable plans and keeping all stakeholders aligned. If you're passionate about data accuracy, fast-paced production environments, and leading teams to success, this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities
Perform hands-on data processing: write, run, and QA merge-purge, hygiene, and formatting scripts
Oversee daily workflow: assign tasks, manage job queues, and adjust schedules in real time
Scope projects: turn sales and client input into detailed processing plans
Build custom data solutions: script internally or manage external developers or vendor partners
Maintain SOPs and documentation for training and audits
Lead compliance efforts including HIPAA and HITRUST and maintain audit trails
Hire, coach, and develop team members, including performance reviews and separations
Manage software and hardware tools and stay current with technology advancements
Liaise with vendors, troubleshoot issues, and evaluate performance
Plan for capacity, risks, and contingencies across staff and systems
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience
5 or more years in high-volume data processing (ETL, merge-purge, hygiene, file formatting)
2 or more years in a supervisory or lead role
Advanced proficiency in SQL and at least one scripting language (Python, VB, PowerShell, etc.)
Strong understanding of HIPAA, HITRUST, and data privacy regulations
Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex projects
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Work Environment and Schedule
This is an onsite role at our Oxnard, CA facility. Occasional travel to client sites, conferences, or training events may be required. The role is primarily computer-based but may involve walking the production floor, light lifting (up to 35 pounds), and working at a dual-monitor setup. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, with evening or weekend availability when tight deadlines require. Data-security protocols and clean-desk policies must be followed at all times.
