Ventura Community Counseling is a small nonprofit offering quality mental health to the community of Ventura and virtually throughout the state. We frequently have Spanish speaking clients contacting us and we would like to support the Spanish speaking community. We are looking for a licensed therapist (LMFT) who can help meet this need. The Position:

We are looking for a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), registered with the State of California Board of Behavioral Sciences. Bilingual is a highly preferred skill for the position. This position is ideal for a newly licensed therapist who is not quite ready to make the jump into solo private practice, but who could use this position as a stepping stone to get there.

Your Requirements & Responsibilities

Provide individual therapy to children, adolescents, and adults in a private practice setting.

Maintain a valid license # provided by the California State Board of Behavioral Sciences

Obtain an NPI # with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Ability to work 20-40 hours per week, with a slow start as you build your case load.

Ability to manage all aspects of a caseload.

Adhere to all CA state ethical and legal standards.

Keep all BBS documentation, daily schedules, and progress notes up to date.

(Optional) If interested, facilitate group therapy to the client type of your choice.
