ResourceMFG has a great opportunity for a solderer withtin a electronics manufacture in Thousand Oaks, CA

Pay: $22

Hours:

5:30AM - 2PM

or

2PM - 10:30PM

Monday to Friday

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work under general supervision

Update manual and computerized status reports and logs per department requirements

Perform moderately complex assembly and/or soldering tasks using tools such as hot tweezers, cutters, soldering iron, solder pot, stereo microscope

Perform production assembly from formal work instructions and drawings.

Work on more than one product within the department or company.

Understand and do complex inspection (solder joints).

Understand Kan Ban and small-batch size requirements. Able to help others with keeping Lean changes on track.

Provide training to lower level employees with support from lead.

Provide leadership within some task groups when lead is not available.

Understand production requirements with a moderately broad scope.

Assist with inventory and department status activities to a moderate level, under guidance from lead.

Perform other job related duties as assigned

Able to work occasional overtime (Saturdays included)

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: high school diploma or equivalent

Years of Experience: 0-1+ years experience with soldering or precision assembly

Able to read, speak and understand the English language

Good verbal communications and reading skills

Able to work from schematics and blueprints.

Able to read and understand technical work instructions.

Able to lift 25 pounds.

Able to read a scale/ruler.

Able to pass visual acuity exam.

OTHER PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES OR QUALIFICATIONS (not required):

Familiar with Word or Excel; have experience using a computer

Six Sigma, 5S and Lean experience a plus.

Other skills: needlepoint, fine embroidery, sewing, model assembly (for example, trains or model cars), or other hobby/work experience requiring fine manual dexterity and working with small parts.
