Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Manager to oversee our light manufacturing and fulfillment operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing production teams, ensuring efficient workflow, and maintaining high-quality standards within the Production / Warehouse. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to lead by example while fostering a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
Supervise daily production activities and manage the assembly line processes to ensure timely completion of production goals.
Coordinate with various departments to optimize workflow and enhance productivity within the factory.
Train and mentor production staff on best practices, safety protocols, and operational procedures.
Monitor equipment performance, perform routine maintenance, and troubleshoot mechanical issues as needed.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste in the manufacturing process.
Conduct regular inspections of production areas and equipment to ensure quality standards are met.
Have a daily one-on-one meeting with the CEO on various issues within the Production / Warehouse areas.
Skills
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to fabricate components as necessary.
Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and operating forklifts safely within a warehouse or factory setting.
Experience working in a manufacturing facility with a solid understanding of assembly line operations.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams effectively.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail to ensure high-quality outcomes.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively across all levels of the organization.
Knowledge to operate ERP systems with good computer skills.
Experienced and knowledgeable of Quarterly and Cycle count Inventory and management.
