Join our team as an Inventory Control Specialist! This role demands strong organizational skills and attention to detail. You will be performing administrative and physical tasks to control and track materials, ensuring the efficient flow of parts, materials, supplies, and equipment for our manufacturing facility from receipt to storage to issue. Department: ShippingPay Range: $18.00 - $25.50 per hourFull-time: Monday - Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pmDuties/ResponsibilitiesReceive, inspect, and store materials in an orderly manner. Enter and maintain accurate inventory data in the system. Verify inventory through physical counts and investigate discrepancies.Adjust inventory for over/short, defective, or damaged product.Collaborate with production and purchasing teams to fulfill material requests promptly.Generate reports and documents related to inventory and shipping.Participate in quality checks to ensure materials meet standards.Report discrepancies promptly to relevant departments.Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.Assist in day-to-day warehouse operations to include materials handling, and operating a forkliftPerform other duties as assigned.Experience in inventory management, preferably in an aerospace or manufacturing.Knowledge of warehouse and inventory control procedures.Motivated self-starter, able to work independently or with a team.Effective communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.Basic math and computer/clerical skills for data entry and reporting.Experience using an MRP database or other related software to monitor and maintain records and inventory. Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.Positive attitude, teamwork, and a strong work ethic.Valid driver's license with a good driving record.Ability to handle physical demands, including lifting and moving materials.Physical Demands: Job duties are performed in an open warehouse environment with varying temperatures and exposure to noise, vibrations, fumes, and chemicals.Constant standing, bending, squatting, and movement.Occasional sitting, kneeling, and climbing.Occasional driving of company vehicles and/or forklift.Frequent lifting, pushing, and/or pulling up to 50 pounds (Occasionally more with assistance).Frequent reaching, twisting/turning, handling/grasping, and fine dexterity.ITAR Requirement: This position requires the use of information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
