American Bicycle Security Co. is looking for someone to fill a Full-time finisher/roller position. This person will learn multiple areas of the shop but the main duties will be doing cosmetic touch-ups on fiberglass bike lockers and assisting the molding side with mold assembly and disassembly. A majority of the time. You'll majority of each day doing paint touch ups and body repairs to lockers made the day before. After lunch you will help assemble and disassemble molds used to make the current day's lockers.
This role includes daily cleaning duties, same as all positions in the shop. There is room for advancement by learning new positions in the shop, Those opportunities will be made advisable as supervisory staff sees fit.
No experience required, will train a willing applicant. But experience with a HVLP gun, bondo or other body fillers would be an advantage.
The person who takes this job will be helping make a wide range of fiberglass products such as bike lockers, boats, train & bus parts. Job includes standing, bending over, lifting and pushing molds that weigh up to 50lbs. Must be motivated, follow directions well and have basic hand tool experience.
Shop hours are Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm.
Pay scale for this position is $16.00-$16.50.
