We are hiring a CNC Setup Machinist with the ability to independently complete mill and lathe setups, inspect parts to blueprint, and run production after proving out programs. This position supports high-precision aerospace and defense component production in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Operate, program, and set up HAAS CNC 3 and 4-axis mills and lathes
Program mill and lathe tool paths using Mastercam software.
Machine parts using detailed drawings and CAD models.
Design and manufacture tooling and fixtures for use in the manufacture of parts.
Applicants must have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience with Mastercam Programming. (A MUST)
Able to interpret complex drawings and specifications.
Proficient in applying Geometric Dimensioning and tolerancing as it pertains to CNC manufacturing.
Ability to use precision measuring instruments during in-process part validation.
Must be reliable, motivated, a self-starter, and able to work well collaboratively within the company.
Able and willing to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Wages are dependent on experience.
