We are a high-end CNC manufacturer seeking a talented and experienced CNC Machinist Setup/Operator. Some knowledge of programming is a major plus!
Responsibilities:
Operate and set up HAAS CNC 3 and 4-axis mills and lathes
Will entertain training the right professional in operating cutting-edge multi-tasking 8 Axis CNC Swiss milling/turning machine center.
- Ability to read and interpret complex drawings, specifications, and written instructions.
- Ability to proficiently use precision measuring instruments.
- Must be reliable, motivated, and a self-starter.
- MUST BE ABLE TO PERFORM INTRICATE SETUPS WITHOUT ASSISTANCE
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 3+ years of experience in set-up and operation of HAAS CNC mills and lathes.
Able to interpret complex drawings and specifications.
Proficient in applying Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing as it pertains to CNC manufacturing.
Ability to use precision measuring instruments during in-process part validation.
Must be reliable, motivated, a self-starter, and able to work well collaboratively within the company.
Able and willing to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
WILL STRONGLY CONSIDER A CANDIDATE WHO HAS SOME MASTERCAM PROGRAMMING EXPERIENCE.
Hours: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
