The C.R.E.W. is an environmentally oriented nonprofit youth leadership and employment organization. Founded in 1991, the C.R.E.W provides leadership and job training, and paid employment to young people, mainly 18- 26 years of age, while preserving, maintaining, and improving public and private wild lands, protecting local communities against the threat of wildfire, and assisting with wildfire recovery.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Builds and does repair work on local trails, public and private brush clearance, fire abatement, and habitat restoration.
18-26 years of age, use power tools such as chain saws and weed whips.
Must adhere to CREW protocols regarding job site and fire safety, as well as appropriate behavior.
Position involves manual labor in outdoor settings.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High school attendees must have valid high school work permit.
Experience: None.
Skills: Must be physically fit.
