Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations, coordinate team activities, and ensure efficiency, accuracy, and safety in all warehouse functions. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving and team supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and direct daily activities of warehouse associates, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, picking, and packing.
Ensure orders are processed accurately and timely to meet operational and customer requirements.
Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits.
Train, mentor, and support team members on standard operating procedures, safety practices, and productivity goals.
Communicate effectively with other departments such as Purchasing, Sales, and Transportation.
Enforce warehouse safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as needed.
Identify areas of improvement and implement process enhancements to improve workflow.
Prepare and maintain daily reports, shift logs, and performance records.
Step in and perform warehouse tasks during high-volume periods or staff shortages.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical certification is a plus.
3+ years of experience in warehouse/logistics operations, including at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role.
Strong understanding of warehouse procedures, safety regulations, and inventory systems.
Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Forklift certification is preferred.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
Work Environment:
Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and physical activity.
May require occasional overtime, weekend, or evening hours based on business needs.
