We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping and Fulfillment Specialist to manage the efficient packaging, labeling, and shipping of goods via FedEx, USPS, and freight services. This role involves ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining accurate records, and optimizing shipping processes to enhance customer satisfaction.
In addition to shipping duties, the coordinator will occasionally assist with product assembly and inventory management, helping to ensure smooth operations across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare Shipments: Pack, label, and process orders for shipment according to company and carrier guidelines.
Carrier Coordination: Arrange pickups, schedule freight deliveries, and ensure proper documentation is prepared for each shipment.
Shipping Documentation: Generate shipping labels, bills of lading, and customs forms (if applicable).
Quality Assurance: Verify the accuracy of orders before shipping, ensuring correct items and quantities are sent.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to shipping regulations, including weight limits, hazardous materials handling, and international shipping rules.
Process Optimization: Identify and implement improvements to shipping workflows to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
Assembly Support: Occasionally assist with product assembly as needed.
Inventory Management: Support inventory tracking by monitoring stock levels and participating in inventory counts.
Workplace Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following company housekeeping standards and safety protocols.
