Apricot Lane Farms is a 214-acre organic and biodynamic farm looking for an experienced, highly efficient, part-time Housekeeper. Applicant will handle various farm upkeep and deep cleaning two days a week including, but not limited to, maintaining:
-Offices
-Restrooms
-Patios
-Guest Housing and Main Residence
-Gym
-Barn
-Trash disposal
-Dishes (during guest stays and events)
-Bed making (during guest stays)
-Laundry (during guest stays and events)
Applicant must be flexible and available to work various weekends a year for farm events lasting up to two weeks time. This is a full-time position with room for growth. Applicant must be reliable and have their own form of transportation to and from the farm. Our team members are passionate about growth, innovation and collaboration. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively with minimal oversight while also functioning well in a team environment; able to remain focused on tasks at hand; highly organized and enthusiastic as well as have a sharp attention to detail.
Requirements:
-Minimum 2 years experience with residential housekeeping
-Be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds
-Must be willing and able to walk up hilly and steep terrain on a daily basis
-Be able/willing to work in a variety of extreme weather conditions
-Capable of working under pressure and independently as necessary as well as handling a diverse range of responsibilities
-Willingness to maintain confidentiality
-Ability to work as a team member maintaining positive work relations of staff & volunteers
-Ability to interact with all levels of management and staff
-Ability to communicate clearly in English with team, co-workers and management
-Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
-Must pass a background check
Compensation:
This is an hourly, five day a week position with a starting salary of: $13-16/hr.
Hours are 7:30am-4:00pm with a half hour lunch break.
