We are seeking a motivated, mechanically inclined individual to join our team!
What does the job entail?
-Organized disassembly and detailed cleaning of differentials along with other drivetrain components (third members, underdrives, transfercases, rear axles, front axles, front differentials)
-Must be able to maintain a clean work environment, follow strict guidelines while staying organized
-Set-up procedures on differentials (third members) used in different racing applications
What does this job require?
-Basic mechanical abilities
-Clean and organized work ethic
-Must be able to get along in a team environment as a direct assistant, working under a lead manager
-Lifting heavy cases from transport totes to tear down bench
-Must be able to maintain safe work enviorment while using equipment and other hand tools
What skills are a plus for working here?
-Experience using any of the following shop tools, manual mill, manual lathe, belt sanders, wire wheel, sandblast cabinet, Impact guns, torque wrenches, proper solvent tank use, safe use of vehicle lifts, floor jacks and forklift experience
What could he or she learn working here?
-Valuable hands-on experience working on differentials used in racing applications
-Industry standard tear down and prep assembly techniques
-Magnaflux / crack checking components
-Proper bearing removal and installation
-Proper and safe shop press operation
-Vapor Hone blasting
What if I do not have any of these technical skills?
Don’t worry, if you are as passionate as we are on doing the best work that you can do, you will pick up these skills quickly. Working alongside a solid team will make these projects that once look daunting, become second nature.
