Event Staff
We are seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Event Set-Up Staff. As a crucial part of our event operations, you will be responsible for ensuring that all event spaces are set up according to specifications and timelines. Your primary duties will include arranging furniture, setting up equipment, decorating, and ensuring that all areas are clean and presentable before guests arrive.
Responsibilities:
1. Set up event spaces according to floor plans and instructions provided by event coordinators.
2. Arrange tables, chairs, and other furniture in a visually appealing and functional manner.
3. Install and arrange audiovisual equipment, including microphones, speakers, projectors, and screens.
4. Assist with decorating event spaces, including hanging banners, placing centerpieces, and setting up lighting.
5. Ensure that all signage and branding materials are displayed prominently and accurately.
6. Collaborate with other staff members to coordinate set-up activities and ensure efficient use of time and resources.
7. Maintain cleanliness and organization in event spaces, including sweeping, mopping, and removing trash as needed.
8. Respond promptly to requests from event organizers and address any issues or concerns that arise during set-up.
9. Assist with dismantling and cleaning event spaces after the conclusion of events, including packing equipment and furniture.
10. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience in event set-up or related field preferred but not required.
2. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
3. Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
