We are seeking a dedicated Administrator to join our team and lead to start in our Level 3 home to later advance to Level 4i residential care home. You do not need to have the Admin Certif in-hand on interview, however, you must have the Lev 4 DSP employment experience to apply.
Position Overview: Experience of a Level 4 ARF home of a minimum of 2 consecutive yrs. The Administrator will begin to lead and oversee the daily operations of our Level 3 care home of four residents in this part-time position, ensuring compliance with Title 22 guidelines, supporting the direct care team, and maintaining a positive and nurturing environment. This role begins at 20 hours per week, Monday-Friday, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time schedule within the first six months with position advancement to a Level 4i position. Key Responsibilities:
Support in managing the overall operations of the residential care home and support a person-centered approach for each resident
Ensure compliance with Title 22 requirements & state licensing standards
Supervise staff to ensure compliance with resident rights & care standards
Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures that enhance quality of care.
Monitor care plans & oversee staff to ensure quality, individualized services
Collaborate with professionals addressing residents' needs effectively
Oversee medication including administration processes to ensure safety & compliance
Assistance in maintaining monthly P & I statement of resident's account
Continue to maintain & update residents files on required compliances
Conduct regular assessments & participate in monthly counsel meeting with residents & staff on resident satisfaction and quality of life
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of employment experience in a LEVEL 4 as Admin or DSP, although the position starts as Level 3, in a residential setting you will have the opportunity to advance to Level 4i.
ARF Administrator Certification (may be achieved after hire).
Familiarity with Title 22 compliance standards & with licensing requirements.
Criminal Background compliance
Negative TB testing result within past 6 months
A physician clearance, form can will be supply by us.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Knowledge of resident rights and regulations care facilities.
Familiarity with medication administration protocols.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also demonstrating leadership qualities.
MUST live no more than 20 miles distance 1-way.
Please note that this current position of Lev 3 is already organized to standards and that the facility runs smoothly. We are in process in opening the Level 4i ARF home and must have an Administrator ready with experience of a Level 4 and knowledgeable in order to advance to this role and Full-Time.
