The Loose Cannon is looking to hire beertenders to join our front of house team.
We are a barcade located in the Ventura Harbor that is focused on bringing back that fun arcade feeling while also having that Ventura feel with 20 different beers on tap and full food menu. The Loose Cannon has about 20 arcade games which occupies a little under half of the space. Ideally a great candidate would be excited to work with all ages, from those coming in for a drink, to those coming in just to play a few games. The job requires someone who can work well in a fast-paced environment with a range of responsibilities, including taking orders, running food, pouring beers and maintaining a clean workspace. Our main priority is creating a workspace that is fun to come to and in return creates a memorable experience for our guests.
The Loose Cannon is part of a larger group of restaurants, Copenhagen Sausage Garden located in Solvang as well as Santa Barbara Biergarten located in the funk zone in Santa Barbara. The Ventura Harbor location opened up 8 months ago and is ramping up for a busy summer season ahead of us. We are looking for energetic candidates with leadership capabilities and good attitudes!
The Loose Cannon operates under a beer and wine license, this is not a full bartender position. Beertenders take customer orders, pour beers on tap, occasionally run food as well as jump behind the prize counter on slower days.
