Medical manufacturing company is seeking an Engineering Drafter who will be responsible for creating accurate technical drawings, creating, managing, and maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs), and ensuring meticulous documentation control within our organization as well as assist with design and material sourcing for new parts in support of these designs.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with customers, sales representatives, engineers and product managers to understand design requirements and translate them into technical drawings.
Analyze user requirement specifications, technical documents and materials to determine their impact on designs and provide technical recommendations.
Utilize CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software proficiently to produce accurate and precise drawings.
Develop and maintain BOMs for several products, ensuring all components and materials are accurately listed.
Coordinate with procurement and production teams to update BOMs based on design changes and product requirements.
Verify drawings and BOM accuracy and completeness to support manufacturing and assembly processes.
Implement and manage change control processes for drawings, BOMs, and related documentation.
Track and document revisions, ensuring all changes are properly documented and communicated.
Assist in providing support to less experienced Engineer Designers.
Conduct quality checks on drawings and BOMs to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering AND 3+ years of experience as a Drafter-BOM Builder
OR Diploma in Drafting or Engineering Technology AND 10+ years of experience as a Drafter-BOM Builder
Strong portfolio of technical drawings
Proficient in AutoCAD or SolidWorks and ERP/MRP Systems
Familiar with BOM management tools
