OVERVIEW
R&S Manufacturing and Sales, based in Santa Paula, CA, is a growing company that engineers and manufactures high-quality roof products for the low-rise commercial building industry. We are looking for a Cost Estimator to join our team. This role is key in developing cost estimates, preparing and sending quotes to customers, and responding to inquiries. Additionally, you will create CAD drawings for project approval and use existing tools to generate Bills of Materials (BOM) for manufacturing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop accurate cost estimates and prepare quotes for customers.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding quotes, product details, and clarifications.
- Create detailed CAD drawings for customer approval and manufacturing.
- Generate Bills of Materials (BOM) using internal software tools.
- Act as the primary point of contact for a key high-profile customer, ensuring excellent service, responsiveness, and smooth project execution.
- Collaborate with the sales, engineering, and production teams to ensure projects are executed accurately and on time.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience: Open to entry-level candidates and professionals with up to 3 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in CAD software (experience with 3D modeling is a plus).
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and data analysis.
- Strong math, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers.
- Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Location: On-site in Santa Paula, CA.
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (8-hour shift).
- Compensation: $75,000 – $90,000 per year DOE + bonus opportunities. Compensation based on experience.
