Looking for a team player interested in plants to join us at our beautiful outdoor plant nursery located in the hills of Moorpark, CA.
Duties include:
-Provide a positive customer service with honest and courteous service in a fast paced environment.
-Work closely with sales staff to process hand written order forms and process on point of sale system.
-Collect payment by accepting cash, check or credit card.
-Balance cash drawer by counting cash at beginning and end of work shift.
-Resolve customers issues and questions.
-Answer phone calls from clients and provide answers to inventory and delivery inquiries.
-Communicate via two way radio with our production, maintenance and sales teams.
-Place daily sod orders by phone with follow up calls to the clients providing time of delivery.
-Water plants and tidy up outdoor display areas.
-Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
-Contributes to a team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Monday-Saturday availability from 7:00 am - 4:30 pm. Bilingual not necessary but a plus.
