Assistant Property Manager / Administrative Assistant
Location: Hybrid Remote – In-Person 4 Days/Week (Moorpark, CA 93021)

About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager / Administrative Assistant. This role requires strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills, along with proficiency in computer applications. Appfolio experience is a plus! This opportunity will provide hands-on experience and exposure to multiple facets of our company, allowing for growth and professional development.
Role is in-person 4 days a week 1 remote day.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support by managing calendars, processing mail, depositing checks, answering calls, and maintaining files in Microsoft SharePoint and AppFolio.
Develop organizational systems to streamline record-keeping, financial transactions, and tenant issue resolution.
Conduct property visits to ensure tenant satisfaction and property conditions are well-maintained.
Oversee work orders, maintenance requests, and repairs, coordinating with the maintenance team.
Manage rent collection, invoice processing, and accurate financial records.
Prepare applications, agreements, and reports, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
Act as the primary point of contact for residents, addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and facilitating move-ins/move-outs.
Conduct regular property inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance with regulations.
Organize office operations, including electronic filing, document management, mail handling, and office supply maintenance.
Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Qualifications:
3+ years of administrative experience (preferred in real estate or property management).
1+ year of property management experience required.
Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite and AppFolio (preferred).
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong customer service and phone communication skills.
Experience in data entry, financial transactions, and office management.
Bachelor's degree (required).
