About the position:

The Aftermarket Project Manager is responsible for managing projects and customer relationships to ensure on-time delivery of products and meet profitability expectations of Edge Autonomy while coordinating engineering and production efforts related to aftermarket activities with a customer focused mentality.

Duties Include: The following job functions are a basic requirement, but are not limited to, and may be assigned other duties.

Receives and documents customer returned aircraft, systems, and support equipment through an RMA process.

Supervise and coordinate disassembly and engineering disposition of returned equipment.

Prepares customer quotations and submittal packages for aircraft, system, support equipment, and warranty repairs.

Sets up close collaboration and clear hand off with other departments including Engineering, Production, and Shipping.

Responds to internal and approved external customer inquiries related to product pricing and delivery.

Provides project management on orders from RMA receipt, through quoting and production and into Shipment.

Works with engineering and production to evaluate process ability and feasibility of all assigned projects and orders before commitment.

Monitors quoting competitiveness by back calculations and seeking feedback on actual builds on an ongoing basis and reports any trends or issues, safeguarding the overall profitability.

Leads and participates in departmental and inter-departmental continuous improvement efforts.

Required Qualifications:

U.S. Citizenship

Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, business administration or equivalent

Excellent interpersonal relationship building, including transparent communication, the ability to work in a team, and a positive make-happen attitude.

Ability to manage multiple customers, projects, and daily tasks.

Fluent in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, One-Drive, SharePoint).

Database management skills required

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to read, review, and understand engineering drawings and specifications.

Experience with Composites and Electronics manufacturing methods

Ability to perform data analytics and visualization (PowerBI).

Experience using Kaizen (continuous improvement), A3 (problem solving), Poka Yoke

(error proofing) techniques for process improvement.

Hiring Requirements:

If an offer of employment is extended, a background check is required, and the offer of employment is contingent on the results.

This is a salaried position requiring 40 hours a week during normal business hours. Additional hours may be required to support development or production goals.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the candidate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Most work performed in enclosed buildings. This position is primarily housed in a temperature-controlled office. While performing the duties, candidate is frequently exposed to computer terminals, sitting, and standing for long lengths of time. Frequent and prolonged periods of time looking at a computer screen. Walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, sitting, bending during each workday. The vision requirement includes, close vision, distant vision, computer vision. Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard. Usage of copier machines, printer machines, and machines designated to engineering practices. Carrying up to 50 pounds. PPE for production, as well as PPE for Covid and infectious diseases include facial mask, protective gloves as necessary. These ADA requirements are not inclusive of the performed and responsibilities to be held by the candidate.
