Direct Position, NOT Contract (This job is in OXNARD, CA)

Location: MUST be able to commute or relocate to OXNARD, CA on your own.

Salary: $80K-$100K, depending on experience.

Position: Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant supports the Management with a wide variety of functions which include monthly GL/Bank account reconciliations, transactional processing, cost allocation, financial analysis and the implementation of financial and compliance controls. S/He serves as a key resource for the organization and provides daily financial oversight to ensure that the financial records are complete, accurate and comply with generally accepted accounting principles, policies, and regulations, to facilitate solid decision support. S/he will report to the CFO and proactively and cooperatively works with Management and staff to implement solutions as required.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assists with or responsible for:

· Processing and posting of journal entries for routine transactions and ensure accuracy of the General Ledger

· Preparation of supporting schedules for specific general ledger accounts. Analyze and reconcile all balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.

· Inventory cost analysis and monitoring

· Maintenance of fixed assets register

· Management of certain aspects of accounts receivable, cash receipts, and banking activities, including the review and custody of supporting documentation

· Coordination and participation in annual audits and reviews

· Coordination of monthly and year-end financial closing process

· Maintenance and analysis of various work order performance and profitability analysis

· Performance other duties on ad-hoc basis, as requested

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and or ability required.

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA or CPA eligibility strongly preferred

· Three to five years of related accounting experience in a manufacturing environment ideally with inventory oversight responsibility.

· Experience with inventory cost management

· Collaborate with operations management to review monthly variances and deviations

· Ability to operate in a cross-cultural environment requiring flexibility

· Solid understanding of accounting practices and principles

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with a high degree of proficiency in Excel and Word

· Effective time management skills, self- motivated, critical attention to detail and deadlines

· Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills

· Analytic and detail-oriented, with good organizational skills

· Self-motivated, high initiative and able to work with minimal supervision

· Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment with firm deadlines

· Integrity, credibility, and a commitment

· Excellent financial and analytical skills

· Detail-oriented and able to work independently

· Fluency in English required - ability to communicate in local languages a strong asset.
