Responsibilities:
Onboarding of new employees, testing, applications, new hire/employee handbook, I-9, E-Verify, W-4s etc.
Prepare, review and process payroll on a weekly basis.
Direct Deposits.
Wage garnishments, Cal Savers, etc.
Weekly payroll tax deposits.
Ensuring compliance with federal, state and local payroll, wage and hour laws, including training, policies and
procedures.
Distribute weekly “Tailgate” safety topics, other reports and sign off sheets.
Worker’s compensation administration.
Quarterly, annual tax returns, W-2s.
Works closely with field supervisors, foremen and accounting manager.
Other duties as needed, including answering the phone at times.
