Basic patient care needs will be met though both administrative and clinical duties. An MA I is expected to perform in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.The Medical Assistant (MA) II works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform duties as directed to assist in providing patient care to assigned patients. A MA II performs all aspects of the MA I role and is fully competent in the clinical needs/functions for assigned clinic/location of work. An MA II is expected to perform in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.The Medical Assistant (MA) III works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform duties as directed to assist in providing patient care to assigned patients. A MA III is capable of performing all aspects of the MA I and MA II roles. Additionally, the MA III proactively takes initiative and serves as an informal leader with additional responsibilities related to clinic/location. MA III serves as an ambassador, change agent, quality champion, and mentor/resource to Medical Assistants by providing support, guidance, and training as needed.Associate Medical Assistant:Required Qualifications:
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
Medical assisting experience in a clinic setting (0-6 months).
Preferred Qualifications:
Coursework/Training: Graduate of accredited school for medical assistants or an equivalent combination of coursework, experience/training to qualify to sit for the CA State or National Certification exam.
6 months' Prior experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast-paced environment.
6 months' Previous experience in a healthcare setting working with an Electronic Health record (EHR).
Associate Medical Assistant, Salary Range:Southern, CA (Mission Hills)Min: $19.61, Max: $30.54Medical Assistant:Required Qualifications:
Coursework/Training: Graduate of accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants, or an equivalent combination of coursework, experience and hands on training in a clinical setting.
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
6 months Healthcare experience.
6 months Medical Assistant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
National Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.
Medical Assistant, Salary Range:Southern, CA (Mission Hills, Burbank, Canyon Country, Porter Ranch, Santa Clarita, and Valencia)Min: $21.24, Max: $33.07Senior Medical Assistant:Required Qualifications:
Coursework/Training: Graduate of accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants, or an equivalent combination of coursework, experience and hands on training in a clinical setting.
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
2 years' Medical assisting experience in a clinic setting
2 years' Experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast paced environment, including handling confidential data with discretion.
6 months' Working experience in a PSJH clinic within the last 3 years.
