Description We are inviting applications for the role of Controller based in Valencia, California. Part of the manufacturing industry, the job function involves financial and cost accounting, month-end close processes, financial reporting, data analysis, and managerial collaboration. The workplace requires you to work closely with different teams across the organization.Responsibilities: Facilitate the process of month-end close, including the preparation, review, and approval of journal entries. Ensure the timely and accurate financial close in accordance with company policies and procedures. Prepare and present comprehensive financial statements and reports. Conduct a detailed gross margin analysis on product overhauls and compare actual results against forecasts to explain variances. Analyze key performance indicators such as labor productivity, efficiency, and utilization for continuous improvement opportunities. Provide actionable data and meaningful insights to support decision-making. Develop monthly business review decks for senior leadership team presentations, including graphs, charts, and data visualizations. Work closely with the General Manager on financial planning, budgets, and decision-making processes. Report directly to the Oklahoma Controller to ensure alignment on key financial metrics and organizational goals. Utilize accounting software systems and CRM for efficient operation. Manage accounts payable and receivable as per the established accounting functions. Participate in budget processes. Requirements Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar Controller role Proven proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Experience with ADP - Financial Services is highly desirable Familiarity with CRM systems Demonstrated ability to handle all Accounting Functions Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) In-depth understanding of Budget Processes Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
