Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Payroll Administrator in Vacaville, California. This role involves handling union and certified payroll and is a key part of our team. We operate using the ProContractor platform and expect the successful candidate to familiarize themselves with the same. Responsibilities: Managing union and certified payroll processes Utilizing ProContractor platform for various payroll tasks Ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing Handling immediate hiring processes as per company guidelines Maintaining confidentiality and passing necessary screenings Handling payroll-related inquiries and resolving any issues Monitoring payroll systems to ensure smooth operations Ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations Collaborating with other team members to improve payroll processes Utilizing Microsoft Office tools for administrative tasks. Requirements Must possess knowledge and expertise in Certified Payroll Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite is required Prior experience in the Payroll function is a must Experience with Payroll - Union is required Proficiency in ProContractor software is necessary Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Understanding of payroll regulations and requirements Ability to meet deadlines and manage stress effectively while working under pressure.
