POSITION SUMMARYThe Senior Division Accountant role ensures accurate and timely processing of assigned financial transactions which may include accounts payable, or accounts receivableWhat you’ll do:
Ensure accurate and timely processing of assigned financial transactions which may include accounts payable, or accounts receivable
Assist Accounting Manager to oversee and monitor daily operations of assigned areas ensuring accuracy and integrity of accounting systems and internal controls
Monitor financials. Coordinate the collection, consolidation, and evaluation of financial data. Prepare standard and special reports
Maintain knowledge of best practices, and current and proposed legislation and regulation; recommend changes to accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency
Works with the accounting manager on appropriate fiscal strategies for the organization
Lead departmental projects to include change/implementation of new policies and procedures
Complete month-end and fiscal year-end financial reports
Reviews/completes analysis of complex accounting issues
Provide coaching and/or training to Staff Accountants
What you’ll need to be successful:
Advanced accounting knowledge
Excellent organization skills with high level of attention to detail
Effective written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate across all levels
Must be analytical, innovative, and decisive; able to analyze and resolve complex issues
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with intermediate to expert level ability to utilize MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, etc. required
Process orientation with a focus on quality and efficiency
Demonstrated ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
What you bring to the table:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent; MBA preferred
Minimum 3-5 years of accounting experience, 2 + years of construction project accounting experience

Pay: Final pay is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. For (Colorado/New York City/California/Washington) this ranges from $80,000.00-$100,000.00 plus annual incentive, benefits and retirement program as outlined above.
