Credit & Collections Analyst

Description We are seeking a Credit & Collections Specialist based in Union City, California. This role primarily involves overseeing and managing credit and collections functions within the financial services sector. You will be tasked with processing customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and resolving credit inquiries. Responsibilities: Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications Maintain precise records of customer credit data Resolve customer credit inquiries in a prompt and professional manner Monitor customer credit accounts regularly to identify any irregularities Take necessary actions to collect delinquent payments Utilize various software systems such as Accounting Software Systems, Accurint, Great Plains (GPAC), IBM AS/400, and Microsoft Excel in performing duties Handle billing functions and ensure they align with credit procedures Understand and manage collection processes efficiently Act as a reliable collector, ensuring company credit policies are adhered to Deliver exceptional customer service while handling credit-related issues. Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required. Experience with Accurint is necessary for this role. Familiarity with Great Plains (GPAC) is a must. Working knowledge of IBM AS/400 is essential. High proficiency in Microsoft Excel is expected. Ability to handle Billing Functions efficiently is required. Understanding of Collection Processes is crucial. Experience as a Collector is necessary. Knowledge of Credit processes is required. Excellent Customer Service skills are essential.
