With trained, dedicated educators (some with decades of experience), we provide an authentic Montessori experience in an early education setting. With mixed-age classrooms and carefully curated Montessori materials, we embrace the authentic Montessori Method, as we guide young learners toward the future, so they become innovative thinkers, good citizens, and able leaders.The Assistant Director is responsible for the safe, effective operation of the School alongside the School Director. In the Director’s absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school. The Assistant Director assists in the promotion of the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children under their care and assists with a variety of administrative tasks including opening/closing the school at least 50% of the time. As an Assistant Director, you are:

Accountable! Ensure that the school is operating in accordance with our school, company and state licensing standards.

Responsible! Ensure an educational, caring, and safe authentic Montessori environment for the children and parents.

Supportive! Assist the faculty and staff as they guide children’s learning within the context of a Montessori learning community.

Positive! Promote a positive image of our school, our fellow Montessori Unlimited affiliates and parent company, to make Learning Care Group a provider of choice in educational programs for the communities that we serve.

Team-oriented! Recruit, select, and retain quality staff.

Dedicated! Help achieve profitability for our school.

We want joyful, dependable, passionate individuals who are at least 21 and have:

Previous management experience and at least 1 year of experience in a licensed child care facility.

Completed a high school diploma or equivalent. BS or BA preferred.

Met state requirements for education; additional school requirements may apply.

Montessori early childhood certification or experience preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:

Pay based on Position, Education and Experience. Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options

$23-$32

Immediate Health insurance (medical, dental and vision), paid time-off and 401K (plus company match) provided for full-time employees.

Limited medical offered for part-time workers.

Education assistance including tuition reimbursement and certification available to all employees

Monday-Friday work week
