Material Handler I / FTP 1 (Day Shift)

Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour.Fill storage requisitions as requested by Plants 1 & 2 and deliver same materials to plants.Perform daily, inventories and prepare reports as required on all packaging materials, spices and operational supplies.Maintain warehouse and warehouse equipment in a clean and orderly manner according to USDA standards.Communicate and problem solve with and through production supervisors, forepersons, Central Supply, Purchasing and Scheduling.Maintain records (Daily Issue Log) of materials received and issued.Receive proper documents from outside vendors and submit through proper channels.Communicate any shortages of materials to immediate superior.Maintain Control of material waste.Stage issue point with materials for all production shifts.Assists in the unloading and loading of equipment.Help maintain and improve quality and food safety, to ensure compliance with company quality standards and USDA regulatory requirements.
