Responsibilities• Creates high quality level 3D data using nurbs from scan or sketch information.• Creates high quality level 3D data using rapid digital modeling tools to support early styling activities.• Creates high quality level 3D data incorporating feasibility directions, milling or production requirements.• Communicates and collaborates with other designers to effectively evolve and refine output.• May act as Project Leader (PL) or Person in Charge (PIC) of projects and provide operational support to department management as needed.• May act as Technical Expert (TE) in new technology and process initiatives.• Researches and presents initiatives to keep design process of studio relevant and competitive within the industry.• Performs other related duties to propel the project, studio, department and group forward as assigned or requested. • Coordinates with management to clarify and direct development of digital modeling aspects of design process.Required Skillset• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline and 10+ years of equivalent work experience. • Proficient use of Alias Studio or related 3D modeling software required to perform the job.• Ability to use 3D visualization software for general data checks and communication with styling• Possess strong mechanical skills, project management, team leading, organizational and communication skills.• May assist with coordinating workload of lower-level associates.• Ability to travel and work overtime as required by projects.• Ability to work onsite or remotely, up to 100% of the time, as required by projects and external conditionsDesirable Skillset• DeltaGen experience a plus.Location: Torrance, CAType: ContractDuration: 6 monthsSubmit resume to Contact: Mario Ruiz Numberx105
