Description Robert Half Management Resources is recruiting for a consultant to join our apparel client in an interim FP& A capacity for a 3+ month on-site engagement in the South Bay area. The consultant will be an individual contributor responsible for a wide range of ongoing duties and ad hoc projects including but not limited to monthly sales and operational reporting, monthly commission calculations, monthly reforecast, financial analysis projects as needed, and managing the annual operating plan processRequirements
Advanced Excel skills including Power Query, working with large data sets and creating financial models from scratch
Experience pulling data sets from various sources such as ERP and BI tools is required, D365 or similar and Power BI preferred
Previous experience leading the annual budget process, experience with zero based budgeting is highly preferred
Proven experience in a similar role within the retail industry is a plus
Demonstrable skills in annual operating budget planning and management
Proficiency in budget processes, including forecasting and variance analysis
Ability to prepare and interpret commission statements
Proven track record in sales analysis and reporting
Strong financial analysis skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders
