Application and Business Analyst

Description We are seeking a Business Analyst to join our team in the automotive industry based in Torrance, California. The role primarily involves delivering meaningful digital experiences and strengthening our customer experience. The analyst will gather, refine, and validate complex business requirements, specifications, processes, and interdependencies to support the best end-to-end digital experience. This role operates in a hybrid work environment.Responsibilities: Develop and refine complex business requirements and use cases Work closely with the product owner to create user stories with relevant acceptance criteria Write and analyze various advanced programming codes to recommend and make decisions on application requirements and interdependencies Troubleshoot application defects and gaps and triage with the business partners Understand all products and mobile app functions to support the customer data privacy activities Perform impact analyses to make recommendations Have an in-depth understanding of the business architecture and its relationship to other architectures Map 'as-is' and 'to-be' process flows Put together a test plan and test cases and perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Act as subject matter expertise for architects, engineers, developers, and other various technical teams. Requirements Proficiency in Customer Service and Communication Experience in Materials Handling and Quality Assurance Capable of delivering effective Presentations Knowledge in Workstation Support and Troubleshooting Demonstrated Leadership Skills Willingness to Travel as per business needs Proficiency in JavaScript, SQL, Python, and Java Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Specification writing Programming skills and experience with GitHub Understanding of Deliverable management Experience with Tableau software Degree in Computer Sciences or related field Ability to work with R Code and other programming languages Experience in handling Deliveries and working with Suppliers Ability to work Onsite as required Experience in the Automotive industry Role of a Business Analyst in prior experience is a plus Strong digital skills and knowledge of latest industry trends Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
