Illumination Foundation (IF) is a growing non-profit organization dedicated towards disrupting the cycle of homelessness by providing targeted, interdisciplinary services in our recuperative care centers, emergency shelters, housing services and children’s and family programs. IF currently has 13+ facilities with 22+ micro-communities scattered across Orange County, Los Angeles County and the Inland Empire. Job Description Housing Case Manager is a community-based, high-engagement role wherein direct transitional care is provided to moderately sized caseloads composed of clients across our service county. Individuals in this role will have to be adaptive, resource-savvy, personable, team-oriented, and have advanced critical thinking skills. This role requires both remote and in-person engagement when necessary, and is focused on delivery of optimal transitional care to homeless and other vulnerable populations. The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on experience. Responsibilities
Search for and develop housing inventory for programs across agency
Develop relationships with property managers and landlords to support housing inventory
Conduct housing inspections to meet HUD Housing Habitability
Conduct housing utility inspections and complete reports
Conduct rent reasonableness reports to meet HUD Housing Habitability
Confirm client rent payments monthly
Assist case managers and clients in housing applications, searches and connections

Preferred Experience/Minimum Qualifications:
Valid CA Driver’s License and eligibility for company vehicle insurance.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Customer and client relations skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, etc.).
Understanding of and ability to conduct HUD Housing inspections and reports
Understanding of housing rental market and property management
