Description Staff Accountant candidates will be interested in Robert Half's full-time opportunity with an innovative established sporting goods company founded in 1986. Assemble journal entries and thorough account reconciliations that include, but are not limited to, cash, prepaid expenses, and payroll
Periodic maintenance and reconciliation of journal entries
Perform the month end close and produce journal entries under minimal supervision
Organize and review various financial data, then report it in a manner that is useful and understandable
Ad hoc reporting and performing special projects upon request
Requirements
Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills required
Excellent attention to detail
Competent with spreadsheets and databases
2+ years of recent and relevant accounting experience
Journal entries experience
General ledger experience desired
Proven knowledge of month end closings
Accounts Receivable (AR) experience
Accounts Payable (AP) experience
Well-founded grasp of Retail Wholesale
Knowledge of SAP
