Inventory Clerk

Description A Manufacturing client in Sun Valley is in need of an entry level Analyst/Inventory Specialist on a contract to hire basis. This role will report to the Cost Accounting Manager and will be required to work fully ONSITE. We are looking for someone who either has a degree in accounting or 1-2 years of accounting or analytical experience.This Inventory Analyst will be reviewing and analyzing data as it relates to inventory and cost analysis. Looking for someone with excellent project management, multitasking and problem-solving skills. The applicant must be detail-oriented and highly organized with a professional yet personable demeanor and a history of excelling in fast paced, demanding environments.You will be responsible for tracking labor, tracking production input/output, running job costing reports and verifying data accuracy.Position Responsibilities: Gathers, consolidates and inputs production and inventory data using Excel Spreadsheets and validates completeness and accuracy Creates spreadsheets utilizing formulas and various functionalities in Excel with regard to inventory monitoring Receives purchases of raw materials in system Assist in inventory management and reconciliation Assist with maintaining the inventory process and system with integrity and accuracy. Coordinates with Production regarding daily production input and output Organizes documents and maintains efficient filing system Assists accounting personnel as neededRequirements Required Education/Experience: 1+ years background in Accounting Proficient in Microsoft Office Application Systems, intermediate Excel skills Proficient verbal and written communication skills Ability to work in a manufacturing environmentPreferences: Bilingual in Spanish is a strong plus Experience in Manufacturing IndustryRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
