Description We are currently seeking a detail-oriented, reliable Billing Accountant to join our organization. As Billing Accountant, you will be responsible for issuing invoices, updating financial records, and handling payments and expenses in an accurate and timely manner.Responsibilities:
Issue and post bills, receipts, and invoices.
Prepare and issue invoices for customers with accuracy.
Check the validity of debit accounts.
Update accounts receivable and issue invoices.
Update customer files with issued invoices.
Process all business transactions and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
Resolve any irregularities or enquiries related to billing.
Prepare bills receivable, invoices and bank deposits.
Track and monitor accounts for non-payments and delayed payments.
Carry out financial analysis and create detailed financial reports and statements.
Assist with tax audits and tax returns.
Requirements
Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
At least two years of professional accounting experience, preferably in billing.
Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures and tasks.
Solid data entry skills coupled with a knack for numbers.
Excellent proficiency with MS Office Suite and accounting software packages (QuickBooks, SAP, etc.).
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
