Red Oak Technology is seeking a
Python-Cloud Software Engineer for our high tech giant client located in Sunnyvale, CA for a long term Contract position. NOTE: If selected for this position, you are required to perform ALL work within a commutable distance of your assigned Worksite Location.Responsibilities:- Software engineer will design and develop a new cloud platform for managing infrastructure third-party cloud providers.
- You will build services and infrastructure in our public cloud providers, using Python, Go and/or other scripting.
- Develop and operate practical, fault-tolerant high-performance distributed systems.
- Solve problems under and over the hood.
- Minimum 2+ years of professional experience as a software engineer with a strong Computer Science background
- Knowledgeable or experienced in building highly scalable and performant RESTful web services
- Cloud experience in AWS or Google Cloud Platform
- Proficiency in modern programming languages, preferably Python. Go, Ruby or other scripting languages are acceptable.
- Python 2-5 years of Programming -Is Required
- GoLang 2-5 years Is preferred
- Required Cloud (IaaS) At least 1 year Is Required
- Familiarity with IaaC tools like Terraform, Pulumi is plus
