Established industrial flooring company based out of Tracy, CA has an “immediate opening” for an experienced Warehouse Associate to join our team. We provide top quality industrial flooring that specializes in resinous flooring, coatings, epoxy, concrete staining, polishing, etc.

We are looking for a Warehouse Associate with a strong work ethic, highly self-motivated, organized, who has great attention to detail and able to problem solve. To succeed in this position, you must be a self-starter and able to take initiative, dependable, responsible, a hard-working, professional, and able to multi-task. The ability to solve problems, meet deadlines, and understand priorities is a must.

As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining the warehouse, including vehicle/equipment inspections, maintenance and logs, supply stocking, cleanliness, organization of the branch and yard, and suggest cost-saving strategies. Able to perform daily operations, including local deliveries, inventory management, customer service, order entry, end-of-day completion, stock transfer and vendor shipping and receiving, debit memos, compliance, marketing database maintenance, merchandising and other general duties, under the direction of the Purchasing Manager.

Job Duties (not limited to):

Manage all Purchase Orders for each project.

Working with Purchasing Manager and field supervisors daily.

Schedule all deliveries and pickups of materials.

Conduct other duties as assigned by management which may include driving a company vehicle.

Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and company vehicles.

Confirm all incoming orders match the Purchase Orders exactly.

Handling of rental equipment, ensuring it’s in good working condition and clean before and after rental.

Packaging materials for each job/project for installers to pick up daily.

Track each purchase order in excel and update daily.

Load and unload freight with a forklift and by hand.

Load customer orders, as needed.

Properly disposing of damaged or expired goods and materials.

Professional and Friendly.

On the job training provided.

FULL TIME POSITION - Monday thru Friday (overtime required on occasion.)

Job Requirements:

EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE AND MECHANICAL ABILITIES A MUST

CLEAN DRIVING RECORD IS REQUIRED.

MUST BE 18 YEARS OLD OR OLDER.

MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT A MINIMUM OF 50 LBS.

MUST BE ABLE TO GET DIRTY.

FORK LIFT EXPERIENCE

POSSESS A VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE

OSHA compliant

Customer service experience preferred, not required
