Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Family Service Counselor. The Family Service Counselor will be responsible for meeting with families to discuss funeral arrangements, explaining options and making appropriate recommendations. They will also be responsible for lead generation, maintaining a high level of customer service, and ensuring that all insurance requirements are met.
Qualifications
Experience working in a funeral home or related field
Sales experience preferred but not required
Strong communication skills and ability to empathize with families
Knowledge of insurance requirements and policies
Experience in lead generation and marketing
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred but not required
Bilingual in Spanish, Chinese, Vietnamese or Hmong is a plus
