JOB SUMMARY

As the Service Manager, you will be the driving force behind a team of skilled technicians, ensuring high-quality service and exceptional customer satisfaction. In this dynamic role, you’ll manage all aspects of service operations, from scheduling and compliance to troubleshooting escalated issues. You will foster a culture of continuous improvement, recruit and develop top talent, and build lasting customer relationships. You will serve as a brand ambassador, exemplifying the company’s commitment to excellence both on and off the job site. Your leadership will push operational performance to exceed KPIs, while aligning with budgetary goals and compliance standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

- Supervise and manage the service team, including providing coaching and feedback.

- Recruit, train and develop service technicians to handle installations, repairs, and maintenance of various commercial door, gate and dock equipment systems.

- Set and monitor team goals to ensure performance alignment with KPIs.

- Manage scheduling for optimal service coverage and resource allocation.

- Address escalated customer service issues and ensure resolutions.

- Build and maintain relationships with existing customers.

- Oversee service calls to ensure timely and quality completion.

- Conduct follow-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction post-service.

- Drive process improvement initiatives for operational efficiency.

- Ensure safety standards and compliance protocols are strictly followed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- 5+ years of experience in service management, preferably in the commercial door or access control industry.

- Proven leadership skills with the ability to supervise, mentor, and develop a team of technicians.

- Strong ability to manage service operations, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.

- Experience in customer relations and resolving escalated service issues.

- Demonstrated success in driving performance to exceed KPIs and operational goals.

- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.

- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.

- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical capabilities.

- Ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
