A well-established distributor in the food processing industry has an immediate opening in our repair department. This role will include cleaning, inspecting, repairing, and assembling food processing equipment parts and components, as well as general shop duties. Training will be provided.
SKILLS:
-Very organized.
-Able to multitask
-Capable of lifting 50 lbs.
-Experience using a variety of measure tools (i.e. calipers, depth mics., pin gauges etc.)
-Self-motivated and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
-Quick learner able to adapt to a fast-paced environment
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Inspecting and repairing incoming repair orders
-Cleaning parts and assembling new parts for orders and inventory
-Assist pump and shipping dept. as necessary
-Keep repair area clean and organized
EDUCATION:
-High School diploma or equivalent
-Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively
-Experience in warehouse work a plus
