MOBILE DIESEL MECHANIC – Great opportunity
$32 an hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a variety of tools and equipment and hand tools. Experience with welding, soldering, and brake repair is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on vehicles
- Diagnose mechanical issues and propose solutions
- Repair and replace damaged or worn parts
- Operate diesel trucks for road test
- Assemble and disassemble diesel trucks and equipment
- Conduct brake repairs on various Diesel trucks consisting of: Internationals, Volvos, Macks, Freightliners
- Tire repair and tire dismounting and mounting
- Logging all work performed on a company provided application
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Mechanic or similar role
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
- Ability to dig, weld, solder, and perform brake repairs
- Familiarity with assembling and disassembling machinery
- Experience in diesel oil changes
- Experience in tire repair, tire mounting and dismounting
