We need a reliable maintenance person for a three story, 50 unit, senior apartment building. You would be responsible for keeping the property running smoothly by repairing any problems in tenant units and general use area. The technician will usually be required to perform a wide range of repair tasks around the property, providing day-to-day maintenance under the direction of management. Technician may be called upon to:
repair broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures;
resolving maintenance issues, complaints and addressing work orders in a timely manner;
minor repairs to appliances e.g., microwaves, refrigerators, stoves, etc.
Candidate must possess interpersonal skills to interact with employees and tenants in a respectful, pleasant and professional manner. Minimum 1 year experience in a similar position. Spanish speaking would be a plus, but primary language must be English.
